What is the project about:
Currently, we are looking for talented developers, testers and analysts who take ownership of their work and help us to create outstanding solutions for a worldwide financial institution. We want to rebuild the existing system into a new one. All features and functionalities will be redesigned and based on cutting-edge technologies and best practices (Java 8, SpringBoot, React, Node, TDD, Agile).

What you will be working on:
The Test Automation Engineer role is responsible for testing changes and enhancements to HTS systems and operational processes to ensure that these changes have the effect intended by the project team. The Test Automation Engineer role is to understand the nature of change, analyse the impact, identify what needs to be tested using automated tools and liaise with development teams, the business and other testing resources to ensure that quality standards are met. Changes may range from a simple fix to the introduction of major new systems.

Main duties:
-Create and develop automated test scripts in cooperation with business users using one of our automation tools
-Validate automated test scripts in cooperation with business users and development teams and ensure appropriate business sign off is secured
-Participate in risk-based testing assessments with business users
-Define and coordinate the construction of testing environments and ensure that the necessary components are in place before testing commences
-Participate in the delivery of quality systems to the live environment on time and in budget
-Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed in an appropriate manner, escalating them as required.

Requirements:
-Knowledge of testing software like Quality Center, Quick Test Pro (QTP/UFT), Selenium, LISA
-Software development skills – Java, Python, bash etc.
-Good knowledge of test design techniques.
-Understanding of testing and development environments
-ISTQB Foundation certificate or knowledge will be an asset
-Experience in automated testing of IT Systems of 1 to 2 years
-Familiarity/experience in working in Agile teams (SCRUM)
-Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must
-Ability to speak and understand English is essential
